We are delighted to welcome you to the Society for Biocontrol Advancement (SBA), a pioneering scientific society dedicated to promoting research, awareness, and practical implementation of biological control strategies in agriculture. Established in 1986 as the Indian Society for Biocontrol Advancement (ISBA) at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, and later functioning as SBA from 1996 at NBAIR, Bengaluru, the society has been at the forefront of advancing sustainable pest, pathogen, and weed management in India.
As we move forward in an increasingly connected and digital world, SBA continues to strengthen its platform for collaboration by bringing together researchers, academicians, professionals, and students through scientific publications, conferences, seminars, and national and international partnerships. Our flagship publication, the Journal of Biological Control, along with regular scientific events, serves as a vital medium for knowledge exchange and innovation.
We warmly invite our esteemed members and new aspirants to actively engage with SBA’s initiatives, contribute to our scientific endeavors, and collaborate in shaping the future of biological control. Together, let us work towards sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship through scientific excellence and shared commitment.
Welcome aboard, and we look forward to your valuable participation in the Society for Biocontrol Advancement.
